Selsin БД-160A
The non-contact selsyn БД160A belongs to the group of non-contact selsyn (they work without sliding contacts). This principle of operation ensures high accuracy of these selsyns, and most importantly, increases their service life. Selsin БД-160A operates on 110V voltage. When voltage is applied to the contactless selsyn, the shaft rotates. These selsyns have three synchronization windings and the same field winding. БД-160A non-contact selsyns also have a greater weight, in contrast to contact selsyns, since they have large air gaps, as a result of which a greater leakage flux and magnetizing current are formed. Selsin БД-160A are used as a transformer-receiver in synchronous transmissions and for measuring the angle of misalignment in tracking systems
